Main Components of Small Concrete Batching Plant

Concrete Mixer

The small concrete batching plant also uses high-efficiency twin-shaft mixer as the main choice of LUTON Group.

This type of mixer has large input and output power, ensuring the productivity of your small concrete plant. Even the HZS25 can meet the need of most constructions including bridge, tunnel, airport, etc.

The JS series horizontal compulsory mixer is always our reliable machine. We carry on many tests on the mixer, and find it very productive. The mixing blade is highly wear-resistant. The whole concrete ingredients can get fully mixed inside the mixer, and in a couple of seconds, be discharged rapidly.

The finished concrete is homogeneous and pure. With this powerful assistant, the fresh concrete will be constantly produced and send to the place needed.

Aggregate Batcher

The aggregate of concrete is the structural ingredient, which provides compressive strength for the concrete. Either the fine aggregate or the coarse aggregate (including sand, crushed stone, gravel, slag…) needs strictly proportioning to ensure the homogeneity of the concrete.

The aggregate batcher of LUTON Group realizes fully automatic operation design. The feeding, weighing, discharging, every step is under the control of the computer with higher accuracy.

Compared to the traditional aggregate feeding mode, the aggregate batcher is faster and preciser.

Silos

The concrete silos are vertical cylinder for the storage of cement and powder. It provides good environmental protection for these materials to keep them dry and steady. The high capacity of these silos can withstand a heavy load of a large amount of storage.

Equipped with a designated screw conveyor, the inner material can be easily transported to the mixer with the control panel.

Besides, all of our silos has automatic dust collector, avoiding any pollution of your product from dust and ash.

The diameter, height, or the numbers of concrete can be customized to the need of your own concrete plant, with no fretting about any limitation.

How Does A Small Concrete Plant Work?

Even though the size of a small concrete plant is simplified, the working process still keeps high tightness and standards. We never neglect any important procedure to ensure everything goes perfectly.

1. Aggregate Feeding

With our designated aggregate batcher, all the fine and coarse aggregate will be disposed into this machine. After accurate weighing, they’ll be discharged through the conveyor to the concrete mixer. All the procedure is protected from water and dust to keep the purity.

2. Powder Feeding

The silos will provide abundant powder, cement, and another adhesive for the concrete mixer through a screw conveyor of proper size. Then they will be transported to the weighing hopper. All the weighing will go on individually.

Being well proportioned, finally, they will be discharged into the concrete mixer, together with the aggregate.

3. Water Feeding

The small concrete plant is equipped with a water weight scale. It receives water from the pump, and holds the water at a preset scale, then is added to the mixer.

4. Mixing

This is the core step of the whole concrete manufacturing process. Having received all the proportioned ingredients, the concrete mixer will mix them evenly and homogeneously. The whole process with LUTON Group’s twin-shaft mixer is quite fast, within 60 seconds, a batch of concrete will be accomplished.

5. Discharging

When the mixing gets finished, the air compressor will open the discharging gate at the bottom of the mixer. The fresh concrete will be released through the gate to the transport concrete truck and sent to the worksite.
