Features of Twin-Shaft Concrete Mixer
Strong Mixing Capacity
The twin-shaft mixer of LUTON Group shows overwhelming capacity in the concrete production. The double shaft design can form two vortaxes during working.
The materials can be fully exchanged and mixed in the cross range. The strong power machine can produce fresh concrete for different standard with high homogeneity.
High Durability
LUTON Group adopt high wear-resistance alloy for the concrere blade. It greatly reduce the abrasion when the blades mixing the materials. Besides, with the strong capacity, the whole mixing process can be finished within 1 minute. During this process, the mixer is running at a relatively low speed. Thus the abrasion is further reduced.
Automatic Discharging
The finished concrete discharging is all controlled automatically. When the whole mixing process gets accomplished, the air compressor will open the discharing gate, then under the force of gravity, the fresh concrete can be directly and rapidly discharged into the mixing truck for transportation.
The shaft will continue rotates till the residues are all discharged. This ensures the use ratio of materials, makes the whole working process more environment-friendly.
Twin Shaft Mixer VS Planetary Mixer
The twin-shaft mixer and planetary mixer can all be used for industrial concrete producing or commercial use with excellent mixing performance. Their main difference are listed belows:
1. Working Principle
The twin shaft mixer is compulsory horizontal shaft design. The materials are mixed under the force of the two shafts with blades. They will be fully exchanged and mixed during the mixing process in a very short time then get discharged.
While for the planetary concrete mixer, it is a vertical shaft designed machine for high precision. The blades will get all the ingredients rotate and revolve in all direction when working, thus the concrete is more homogeneous.
2. Application
The twin-shaft concrete mixer has a relatively simpler structure. It’s easy to assemble with affordable price. Thus it has a larger application in all fields of concrete construction including bridge, tunner, harbor, airport or capital construction.
It has a high compatibility, can be used indivually or equipped on a concrete batching plant. And the easy-access design makes it great easy to clean and maintain. Thus it is favored by our customers from all over the world.
As for the planetary concrete mixer, it has a more complex structure and larger size. The whole machine body should be carefully installled with many precise elements.
Generally, a planetary concrete mixer will cost much higher than a twin-shaft mixer. Thus most of them are adopted for large scale of concrete project or some giant concrete company for more professional use.
